DO

  • Express yourself freely! Try new techniques, explore colors, and embrace happy accidents—there’s no wrong way to make art.

  • Sign your child’s name, try new tools, and share the joy of creating together. It’s all about experimenting and making memories.

  • We’re here to help! Ask questions, crack jokes, and let us help you create something amazing.

  • Your art and your identity are valued here—be yourself!

DON’T

  • Avoid critiquing or changing another person’s work. Their vision is theirs—celebrate their choices instead! Support, don’t redo.

  • Our space is safe and welcoming for all. Any art that promotes harm, hate, or intimidation is not allowed.

  • Follow instructions, be courteous, and respect closing times. Our team works hard to make this a great space for everyone.

  • Be kind or be elsewhere. Everyone deserves a positive and supportive creative environment.

 FAQs

  • No, we cannot have alcohol in our studio during public hours. Adult beverages are only permitted during private after-hours reservations.

  • No. For quality control purposes Paint Yourself Silly cannot fire any pottery that wasn’t purchased at our studio or an approved partner.

  • We can RUSH pottery for a small fee (25% of the item cost) it still takes 3-4 days to complete a rush. We can also ship your item via USPS Priority Mail for a flat rate of $15 within NE or $20 out of state.

  • Your cashier will give you a pickup date for your completed piece, usually a week from the day you painted. Please pick up your items within 30 days from this pickup date, or contact us for alternative arrangements.

    If items are left longer than 30 days and we are not able to contact you, your items are marked abandoned. Abandoned items will be donated to support local causes.

  • We offer donations to charitable organizations or fundraisers with a TaxID. Please submit your donation request with your organization’s letterhead, a description of the event and requested item type, as well as contact info or a mailing address for small items like gift certificates.
    All donation requests require the owner’s review to be approved, please submit in person or via email to paintyourselfsillyne@gmail.com
