How It Works.
Paint Your Own Pottery
Our studios are open to walk-ins every day!
Step 1: Choose your pottery.
Step 2: Select your paint colors.
Step 3: Have fun painting!
For those ages 10 and up, it is $7/hour to paint, and for kids ages 9 and under it is $5/hour. We recommend allotting at least an hour to paint, but don’t worry, we never charge for more than 2 hours, so you can paint until you faint!
After your painting session, you leave your art with us and we fire the pottery in our kilns, so you can stay cool! The usual turn-around time is one week.
We offer a wide range of pottery that costs anywhere from $3 to $80, so pricing is very flexible! Our popular items are within the $10-$20 range.
Clay Days
Offered only at our Pine Lake location!
Weekdays only
Create all day with a pound of clay! Our staff at the Pine Lake location will help you dig in to your project with a personalized lesson. Slab-rolling, coil pots, hand-sculpting, we’ll teach you to do it all!
For $30, we give you a pound of clay to sculpt your project and its first kilning!
Return paint sessions are the usual hourly studio rate of $5/hour for kids under the age of 10, and $7/hour for adults.
Glass Fusion
Offered only at our Pioneer Woods location!
Glass fusion is process of combining glass piece into a design, which is then melted together. Ultimately you can create ornaments, jewelry, suncatchers, etc. or you can “slump” it to create a bowl or plate.
The cost is $7 per hour plus the price of glass base. Base pieces of glass are priced by size from 3” at $9, all the way to 12” at $49.
Our staff at Pioneer Woods are ready to give you an introductory lesson about the HOTTEST thing in fired arts!
Your cashier will give you a pickup date for your completed piece, usually a week from the day you painted.
Please pick up your items within 30 days from this pickup date. If items are left longer than 30 days and we are not able to contact you, we will consider your items abandoned. Abandoned items will be donated to support local causes.
